A supremely buttery biscuit to turn an afternoon cuppa into a little moment of bliss. We’ve made our Yorkshire Shortbread to the same simple yet moreish recipe for many years. The secret to their exquisite flavour – as with many things baked in our Craft Bakery – is to use real butter and to be incredibly generous with it. That plus almost a century of baking knowhow creates perfectly rich, melt-in-the-mouth biscuits without an explosion of crumbs.

Although these buttery biscuits need nothing more than a pot of good tea for company, our Yorkshire Shortbread also makes a delectable accompaniment to chocolate mousse, lemon posset or a seasonal fruit fool, such as gooseberry or Yorkshire rhubarb.

Presented in a pretty box with designs by Yorkshire artist Emily Sutton, making it an ideal gift for someone special.
