Centenary Trees for Life Fund extended for an extra 12 months

In 2019 we pledged £100,000 to tree-planting projects in Yorkshire as part of our centenary celebrations. Now we’re happy to announce that we’ve extended the Trees for Life Fund for a further year.

The money is available to community groups in Yorkshire who want to plant trees as a way of making a difference. The schemes we’ve already funded range from a project to create an edible forest in a disadvantaged area of Bradford to tree planting along wildlife corridors to encourage biodiversity.

We’re making our first set of awards for 2020 today, with a further panel due to sit in the summer. If you have a trees project that you think would benefit from a grant from between £500 and £5000 you can apply online here

Through Bettys & Taylor’s Trees for Life projects we’ve been helping to plant and protect trees around the world since 1990. We’ve planted thousands of trees in our beautiful Yorkshire countryside and we’re passionate about celebrating and caring for our precious woodlands.
