Bettys Delivery Information

Everything we make is made with our love and attention and requires a great deal of care so it's not surprising that we work hard to ensure it reaches it’s destination. If your gift is going to a recipient, please ensure you track the parcel via the tracking details provided on your dispatch confirmation to ensure the gift is delivered as per your instruction

Due to the fresh nature of our products and the availability of some items, some delivery dates may be restricted by the items or combination of items in your basket.

*If you select Monday delivery there is a small chance your parcel will arrive the Saturday before, as our couriers work with pace to make sure all our orders reach their destination by your chosen date, some Monday orders are arriving earlier than planned.

Please enter the address carefully, if you are unsure of an address or postcode, please always check it using the Royal Mail postcode finder or call our Customer Support Team for assistance. We may be able to change the delivery address for an order on your behalf, providing the order has not been prepared for dispatch. Please contact us immediately if you wish to amend and we can check this for you.


DPD Premium delivery from £7.95

This service is a fully tracked service, sent via carbon neutral courier.

DPD this is a fully tracked service and the driver will take a photo to confirm the parcel has been delivered... Please note the parcel will not be left without prior consent, however you can choose a safe place, preferred neighbour or alternative delivery address once you have received your tracking information via DPD.

DPD deliver from 7.00am - 20.30 pm (Monday to Saturday); please note in exceptional circumstances some parcels may be delivered outside these hours.

If time is of the essence, you can upgrade to ‘by 12pm’ delivery (not available in Scotland). Premium deliveries via DPD will be attempted twice and then the parcel will be returned to us. If a DPD delivery is refused, the parcel will be automatically returned to Bettys.


Highland and Island non-UK mainland addresses

Parcels being sent to Jersey will be subject to GST where the value of the imported goods exceeds £60. This must be paid by the recipient before the parcel is released.

On the day of delivery, you will receive a one-hour delivery slot this cannot be changed. We recommend using the DPD app (download here) to manage your delivery and leave instructions to help the driver locate your address and if appropriate leave the parcel safely.

Within the DPD app you can add your what3words location and a photo of your property to help with the delivery. Add your location on what3words here.


Royal Mail Tracked delivery from £4.95

This is a trackable service and you will receive emails from us to keep you updated with every step of the journey.

Your order will be delivered within the two-day delivery window you choose when you place your order (Monday – Saturday). Please check this on your order confirmation. There is a 2kg weight limit for this service.


Voucher Delivery

Our Gift vouchers are sent with the Royal Mail using a trackable service and you will receive emails from us to keep you updated with every step of the journey. This will arrive within a two-three day delivery window, please check your order confirmation.

International Delivery from £35.00

Europe

We're sad to say that delivering food products to Europe (and also Northern Ireland) remains a challenging process for us to navigate at present.

Bettys cannot be held responsible should local customs authorities charge any import duty.

Our courier requires the full name of the recipient for any parcels being sent to an international destination and a local telephone number for the recipient. We are unable to take the order without this information.

P.O. Boxes

Please note that with the exception of the United Arab Emirates, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.


BFPO

We are unable to ship to any BFPO addresses.


Hospitals, hotels, schools and universities

Often, parcels sent to an office, hotel, hospital, school or university address (rather than an individual’s home) are not delivered directly to the requested recipient by our courier but to a central location, such as a reception desk.

Since the parcel may be received by anyone within the premises, we cannot take responsibility for deliveries to such locations. Once the item has been received, our part in the delivery process is complete and, sadly, we can’t influence the speed at which the parcel makes its way to the intended recipient or, indeed, whether it does so safely. We do try to help locate missing parcels within offices, hotels, hospitals, schools or universities, but the limit of our guarantee concludes with proof of delivery to the central delivery point, not the recipient. As you’ll appreciate, it’s very hard to track things down if they’re lost on these sites.

If you’re intending to send to such an address, please always contact them to find out their policies regarding deliveries. Please also source a ward name/number, room number or department to include in the delivery address. You may also wish to advise the recipient to check at the delivery point for their gift once you see it has been delivered.

If sending to a hospital patient, do check that they will still be in hospital when the gift arrives as it is very difficult to locate parcels sent for patients who have subsequently been discharged.
