On this one-day course you will bake two elegant and delicious cakes, refining your skills to produce the perfect sponge using the creaming method, then decorating each one using a range of techniques.
Our expert tutors will guide you as you make a rich dark chocolate cake filled with griottine cherries, pâte de fruits and dark Grand Cru Swiss chocolate ganache, finishing it with a poured glaze. Next, you will make a stem ginger cake and decorate it with hand-piped buttercream and stem ginger pieces. Once completed, you can take away your cakes to indulge in at home.
