Do you remember your first Fat Rascal?

This year, we had the chance to see the lovely Fred Sirieix come face to face with our famous cake for the very first time, when baker extraordinaire and Bettys fan Nadiya Hussain brought him to visit us for tea.

They also tucked into afternoon tea and fondant fancies, as part of a culinary tour of Yorkshire for the BBC's Remarkable Places to Eat. We were truly honoured to be included, and we haven't been able to wipe the smile from our faces ever since.

(Unlike our Fat Rascals, which always look a little grumpy!).
