Freddie the Fox: an enchanting tail

This Christmas, we’ve drawn upon the magic of the Enchanted Forest to create Freddie the Fox. With his bright eyes and inquisitive expression, he’s ready to delight everyone he meets. Like his friends Sophie the Squirrel and Harry the Hedgehog, Freddie may be made from chocolate, but we have to admit that our chocolatiers’ imaginations and craft skills have really brought him to life.

Moulded from a design unique to Bettys, Freddie is made from our wonderfully rich milk chocolate – the high-quality Swiss Grand Cru that you’ll find in everything from our children’s novelties to our most grown-up indulgences. Our chocolatiers pipe white chocolate into the mould first in order to create his creamy white chest, and hand-brush his coat with extra milk chocolate for his thick fur.

After we add the final details of hand-piped chocolate to his friendly face, Freddie is almost ready to scamper off into the Enchanted Forest – but not until we’ve wrapped him in his own cosy marzipan scarf decorated with a jaunty sprig of holly. As adventurous as he is, follow those snowy pawprints and on Christmas Eve, you may well find him curled up under the tree or sitting boldly upon your festive table.
