Writers from some of our favourite magazines and websites have been cracking open our Easter eggs and getting under the lids of our gift boxes and hampers. Read on to find out which of our treats made their lists of this year’s Easter essentials.

With its stylish angles and bronze shimmer, our Vegan Venezuelan Dark Chocolate Egg has been turning heads this Easter, while its intense 65% cocoa flavour has been a hit with both dairy-free chocolate lovers and those seeking a more grown-up Easter indulgence.

It certainly caught the eye of Red magazine’s judges, who said: “Betty’s Easter egg is a real looker, with its glossy geometric shell and chic gold shimmer. Flavour-wise, it’s rich, fruity and full of roasted nut and cacao notes. With nationwide delivery available, this is our go-to for luxurious Easter gifting this year... if you can bear to part ways with it, that is.”

Prima’s testers were also wowed by the egg’s “geometrically designed beauty” and “luxurious feel”, while Country Living’s writers found that those stunning looks are matched by a “divine” taste, showcasing the complex flavours of the chocolate’s criollo cocoa beans. Woman & Home crowned it the best of this year’s batch of dark chocolate eggs, praising everything from the berry flavour notes to its elegant duck egg blue box – “You can really see the difference in the detail from this family-run business.”

We’d also like to thank the judges at You Magazine, who chose our Milk Chocolate Orange Flavoured Button Egg as one of the best luxury eggs to buy this Easter. Meanwhile, food writer Felicity Carter picked our Milk Chocolate Sugar-Coated Miniature Eggs as a must-have for Easter baking in her newsletter a la Carter.

It's not all about the hard shell – our other Easter treats have also been tempting tastebuds and winning plaudits. Country & Town House magazine chose our Family Easter Gift Box as one of this year’s best Easter hampers, and our A Taste of Easter Hamper delighted the writers at Good Housekeeping, who said it was a “gorgeous selection” that “includes delicate biscuits, cakes and treats in a lovely hamper”. They also picked our Tea & Scones Gift Selection as the best collection for fans of traditional afternoon tea to indulge in at home or send as a pretty gift, noting – between appreciative mouthfuls, no doubt – that “the scones were a real highlight”.
