Bettys Online E-Gift Card Terms and Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR E-GIFT CARDS (“E-Gift Card Terms”)

  1. All purchases are subject to our standard terms and conditions, available here. To the extent there is any conflict between our standard terms and conditions and these E-Gift Card Terms, these E-Gift Card Terms shall prevail.
  2. The Bettys Online E-Gift card can only be redeemed at Bettys.co.uk, as part or full payment for goods (exclusions apply, see below). Occasionally exclusions may apply and Bettys reserve the right to introduce exclusions by updating these E-Gift Card Terms.
  3. E-Gift cards can be ordered online with a minimum value of £5 and have a maximum value of £500.
  4. E-Gift cards will be delivered to the recipient email address supplied by you when the E-Gift card is purchased. By providing that email address you confirm you are authorised to do so. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available here.
  5. E-Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  6. If an E-Gift card is lost or stolen, this should be reported to the Bettys Customer Support Team. We are not obliged to replace any lost, stolen or damaged E-Gift card and in no circumstances will a lost, stolen or damaged E-Gift card be replaced with cash or physical gift cards. Any decision to provide a replacement E-Gift card will be at the sole discretion of the Bettys Customer Support Team and will only be issued to the original recipient email.
  7. Any balance remaining on the card may be applied to future purchases, provided the card has not expired. No cash change will be given.
  8. The E-Gift card will expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Any balance remaining unused after the E-Gift card expires will not be valid or available to use after the date of expiry.
  9. E-Gift cards cannot be redeemed against:
    • the purchase of E-Gift cards or other types of gift voucher
    • Bookable Afternoon Tea
    • purchases or bookings with our Café Tea Rooms or bricks and mortar shops
    • purchases or bookings with our Cookery School
  10. In the event that you are entitled to a refund from us, the refund will be applied to your E-Gift card. A cash refund will not be available. Refunded cards will expire after 12 months.
  11. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an E-Gift card which we deem to be duplicated, tampered with or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud.
  12. We reserve the right to amend the Bettys Online E-Gift Card Terms from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so. Where we do, we will publish the updated terms on our website. This will not affect your statutory rights.
  13. These Bettys Online E-Gift card Terms, E-Gift card purchases and use of E-Gift cards are all governed by the laws of England.
