The very essence of Christmas; steeped, stirred, steamed and matured to perfection, a family recipe perfected over a century and passed down through generations of Bettys bakers.

Our rich, fruity puddings begin with a feast of golden glacé cherries, vine fruits, candied citrus peel and flaked almonds, soaked overnight in brandy, Yorkshire ale and Christmas spices to leave the fruits plump, juicy and gloriously festive. Once mixed, our Classic Christmas Puddings are meticulously steamed so that they have a tender, luxurious texture, ready to mature over several months so that the flavours mingle in festive harmony.

This is the perfect pudding to serve six to eight people this Christmas.

The Press Loves

“With a nod to its Yorkshire heritage, Betty’s includes a good glug of local ale in its classic Christmas pudding recipe. Testers thought it struck the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, with zesty citrus coming to the fore and a lick of ginger on the finish.”
