On this full day course our tutors will show you how to make Bettys treats inspired by recipes enjoyed in our Café Tea Rooms across Yorkshire. They will help you perfect your pastry skills and learn key confectionery skills as you create:

Classic Vanilla Slice

Creamy vanilla custard, sandwiched in buttery puff pastry and topped with fondant and raspberry rippled icing.

Large Curd Tart

A golden sweet pastry crust gives way to the velvety texture of smooth curd with a hint of nutmeg and currants infused with Yorkshire Tea.

All courses are taught in our dedicated Cookery School, with state of the art kitchens, quality ingredients and support from friendly, experienced tutors. We provide all ingredients and equipment needed on the day, as well as delicious refreshments to enjoy, including breakfast on arrival and a two-course lunch with wine. And whatever you make with us, you’ll take it away at the end of the course to impress your loved ones and tuck into at home.
